On September 2, 2023 Ruth Winnipeg passed away. She died from complications with cancer. My mother lived a humble life. She was an unceasing mother, loyal wife and loving grandmother. My mother most certainly was sad to no longer be with us, but she never feared death. Mom did not fear death as she knew salvation. She understood what it meant to be in Christ. My mother did not live a perfect life as no one ever could live a perfect life. She did however live by her convictions and you could easily identify her as a Christian by her love John 13:35.

A part of us died with you that day Mom. We miss you, but are relieved to know that we will meet again in Glory.

Oh, God, give us courage to change what must be altered, serenity to accept what can not be helped, and insight to know the one from the other.
